 I will perform Reiki on your pet, either hands on or distant, depending on your pets temperment.

 If you live far away, or it is inconvenient to meet in person, or need some healing energy directed towards a certain event (court date, job interview, surgery, etc.)  I can provide distant healing.  We would pick a time and date that you could be alone and laying down to relax and I will send you  a 1/2 hour of distant healing.

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key)

is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal life energy. Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki is a form of touch therapy that the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health classifies as “biofield therapy” or “energy medicine.” Because of its simplicity and fast, dramatic results, documented in increasing numbers of research studies, Reiki is one of the fastest growing complementary modalities in the world. Reiki is now used not only by individuals but also in hundreds of hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and spas throughout the United States.

Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki's ki-energies flow out of the practitioner's body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient's body.

What to Expect During a Reiki Healing Session

You will be asked to lay down on a massage table. You will be fully clothed except for your shoes. You may also be asked to remove or loosen your belt so that your breathing is not restricted in any way. It is best to choose loose-fitting garments to wear on the day of your appointment. Wearing natural fabrics is best (cotton, wool, or linen). You may also be asked to remove any jewelry (rings, bracelets, pendants, etc.) prior to the session, so consider leaving these items at home.

During the Reiki healing session the practitioner will place her hands lightly on different parts of your body. Reiki energies flow where they are suppose to. Reiki is a smart energy that automatically flows where the imbalances are in your body regardless of where the practitioner's hands are placed.

The client often feels warmth from the practitioner’s hands, and after the treatment, clients generally feel a sense of deep relaxation, peace, calmness and greater clarity of mind.

Studies have shown that Reiki increases the white blood cell count giving a boost to the body's immune system. That it eases depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, stress levels, and reduces pain from both chronic and acute conditions. One hour of Reiki is equal to 3-4 hours of R.E.M. sleep.

 

A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress, and can help support the body to facilitate healing on all levels- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is often utilized for one's own personal wellness, not just illness.

Reiki practitioners do not diagnosis medical conditions, and Reiki is not a substitute for medical treatment. Existing medical conditions should be treated by licensed medical professionals. However, extensive research has shown Reiki to be excellent support for virtually any medical problem. And for healthy individuals, regular Reiki treatments are wonderful preventive therapy, as Reiki helps keep the body in a relaxed, and therefore healthier, state.

Chakra Alignment:

The seven energy centres in our body are known as 'chakras' - Hindu for spinning 'wheels' or vortexes of different color.

There are front and back chakras. In general the front chakras are said to do with the function of our emotions, the chakras in the back of body our will and the head chakras to our reasoning function.

Chakras collect Universal Life Force Energy and direct that energy to the organs in their proximity to help them function properly. When all chakras are calibrated together the entire physical vibration of the human body is raised.

In contrast, when chakras are out-of-balance, related parts of our body do not function properly, causing them to weaken over time. Symptoms may include: feeling depressed, out of touch, tired, unable to think clearly, or listless. You may get angry for no reason, be afraid, be unsure of yourself, lack self-confidence, be unhappy without a direct reason, and have a general negative outlook on life.

Chakra balancing with Reiki stimulates the whole subtle system towards a more harmonious development. Upon regular application, it works like a turbocharger on inner growth processes. Excess energy is distributed and life-force energy is supplied. Chakra balancing also opens the chakras gradually and harmoniously. Regular performance will do away with acute energetic imbalances. The capacity of each individual chakra is gradually increased in coordination with all the other chakras.
